Originally hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Kern now calls Australia home. After spending ten years working for some of the world's most notable humanitarian NGOs in business development and communications, Kern has spent the past two years helping to create two technology companies in Australia that work with large corporate clients across the country. Over the years, he's been fortunate enough to work on massive multi-million dollar capital campaigns, work for several large NGOs during their crucial growth stages, appear on NZ television as a spokesperson and represent the youth of New Zealand as an observer at international climate negotiations. Kern loves the outdoors and can often be found hiking or surfing on the weekends.
